An overcast March day with Floyds Fork flowing at 600 CFS was enough to lure Matt and I out for a morning of paddling. After three months without a blade in the water, it was good to paddle again. We dropped one vehicle at Floyds Fork Park at the confluence of Pope Lick Creek and [...] Thomas and I visited Charlestown State Park in Indiana this past weekend. This 5100 acre park is only 30 minutes from Louisville. There are six hiking trails, a boat launch, picnic areas, playgrounds, and campsites.
