At 6.2 miles, the Siltstone Trail is the longest and most strenuous trail at Jefferson Memorial Forest. It’s major drawback is being a one-way trail, so you either have to leave a vehicle at trail’s end or hike back another 6.2 miles. The trail is open to hikers only.
