Siltstone Trail — Jefferson Memorial Forest

At 6.2 miles, the Siltstone Trail is the longest and most strenuous trail at Jefferson Memorial Forest. It’s major drawback is being a one-way trail, so you either have to leave a vehicle at trail’s end or hike back another 6.2 miles. The trail is open to hikers only.

Since my previous post about Tom Sawyer Park Cave, I’ve heard the following rumors:
